More About Dance House

1st – 12th grade
House Theatre offers a comprehensive dance program for Lowcountry homeschoolers.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in tap/ jazz combination classes alongside their peers,
move into more advanced groups from year to year, and be trained, not just in how to perform, but in technique, and kinesiology.

• General Information
House is a ministry-focused non-profit organization that offers performing
arts education to homeschool students. Dance House is not just an isolated
dance class or co-op, but rather one centralized program where students can begin
young and move up as their age and increased ability allows them to.

Through House, homeschoolers not only get to perform a showcase, featuring learned tap and jazz choreography, but they are also given opportunities to perform publicly around the Lowcountry. The goal of Dance House is to provide students with a dance education where the Lord is honored, and where the music and performances are clean, wholesome, and excellent. It is a place where students can learn quality repertoire and advanced techniques alongside their peers; improve their God-given abilities; and bond with other students over a shared love for the arts. We don’t just prepare the students for performances; we also teach foundational movement and kinesiology skills and, most importantly, share the Lord’s love with these students.
