Job Title: Director of Set Design and Technology (Crew Director)

Organization: House Theatre: Crew

Location: Northwood Baptist Church

Type: Part-Time

About Us:

House is a ministry-focused theatre that offers performance opportunities and performing arts education developed specifically for homeschoolers. House reaches further into our surrounding community by offering wholesome performing arts programs for community participation, appreciation, and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead set and prop design for Stage House Theatre productions

  • Lead students through the set production process

  • Oversee set transportation, installation, and strike coordination

  • Manage set storage, maintenance, and organization

  • Facilitate effective communication between tech and set design teams

Requirements:

  • Experience with carpentry and construction

  • Availability on Mondays from August 19, 2024, to April 30, 2025, as well as show dates TBA

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams

  • Ability to work well with students and parents
